Aeroman, a company with over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry has become a leader in providing aircraft maintenance service to the most important airlines in the Americas. With the recent construction of the new hangar, Aeroman recently received the first Airbus A330. The new hangar, that is part of the expansion plan of the company, could place the company in one of the largest MROs in the world by adding 65,000 square feet to the existing 192,637square feet facility, and represents an investment of US$55 Million.
The construction of this new hangar was finalized as it was planned after ground-breaking on November 2014. Whit this new state-of-the-art hangar, Aeroman has become a facility capable to provide maintenance services up to 20 production lines for narrow body aircraft, or up to 16 production lines in a combination of narrow and wide body aircraft.
This expansion represents a big achievement for the company as Aeroman is now re-entering into the wide body aircraft MRO’s market. On August 19th, Aeroman received the first A330 from its newest customer Azul, a South American airline from from Brazil. Alejandro Echeverría, CEO of Aeroman stated that “this is the start of a new era for Aeroman and it represents a big milestone for the entire company”, he also stated that “this important growing has been achieved thanks to the effort and dedication of all the Aeroman’s people who is committed to deliver the highest quality service day by day”.
