Aeroman Celebrates “1,000 CHECKS”

The company was founded in 1983 and acquired by Aero Technical Support & Services Holdings, since 2006 has doubled its workforce, today with over 1,800 employees, eight production lines and a growing customer base from North and Latin American airlines.

The major milestone on its path of success, AEROMAN celebrates “1,000 checks” of heavy maintenance to prestigious airlines from North and Latin America searching the excellence of its workforce in its hangars.

Reaching “1,000 checks” is an important event in the history of the company as a commitment to its customers, among US Airways, JetBlue, Southwest, Volaris, United Airlines, Iberia, Aerolineas Argentinas, TAME and LAN; a major challenge in the growth of the company for the future development of aviation in the country.

Originally established as the maintenance division of TACA in 1983 with a single hangar and 38 employees, the company was acquired in 2006 by Aero Technical Support & Services Holdings. AEROMAN currently has a total of 8 production lines over 3 hangars and more than 1,800 highly specialized employees, which include Aviation Technicians -including some women-, engineers and administrative and support departments.

AEROMAN, located 42 kilometers from San Salvador, performs around 150 heavy maintenance checks annually, of which 90% are US Airlines and 10% from TACA / Volaris.
